Dr. Klein received a BS degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1984. As a student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry, she completed internships at the State University of New York, John Cochran VA Hospital in 1988 and O'Donnell eye Institute in 1989.
Upon graduation from optometry school in 1989, Dr. Klein was the recipient of the Earl M. McClellan Award for Clinical Excellence and Leadership and the Clinical Binocular Vision/Vision Therapy Award.
From 1991 to 1996 Dr. Klein served as Assistant Clinical Professor at UM-St. Louis School of Optometry, providing instruction and supervision in the Pediatrics and Binocular Vision Clinic. She currently volunteers with vision screenings in the Ste. Genevieve School District and is the vision consultant for the area Head Start Program.
She maintains professional memberships with the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, St. Louis Optometric Society, Optometric Extension Program and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Klein lives in Bloomsdale with her husband Carl, and their four children, Kevin, Maxwell, Weston and Mia.

Clint M. Wolk, O.D.
Dr. Wolk is a life-long resident of Ste. Genevieve. He graduated salutatorian in 2000 from Ste. Genevieve High School where he was also captain of the football and wrestling teams. To answer the most common question asked of Dr. Wolk, his parents are Mike and Sharon Wolk.
Dr. Wolk graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri: St. Louis with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology in 2004. He was accepted into the University of Missouri: St. Louis College of Optometry that same year. As a fourth year student, Dr. Wolk completed an ocular disease externship at Southwest Medical Center, a vision therapy externship at UMSL, a community services externship at various free clinics around the St. Louis area, and even a military externship at the Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Dr. Wolk graduated in 2008 from the UMSL College of Optometry and was the recipient of the Paragon Vision Sciences award for Outstanding Clinical Skills in Contact Lenses.
Dr. Wolk began working with Klein Eye Care in July 2008. He lives in New Offenburg with his wife Mackenzie and they are expecting their first child (girl) in February 2010. |

Dorothy
Optician & Clerical
Dot has been with Klein Eye Care since May of 2000. She enjoys the Optical side of the business: helping patients select glasses, making repairs to bent/broken frames, and placing spectacle orders with our lab.
Dot lives in Ste. Genevieve with her husband Bob. They have four children: Christine, Denise, Annette, and Kevin. They also have nine grandchildren: Amanda, Nathan, Kyle, Jessica, Jacob, Zachary, Brooke, Eli, and Joshua.
On a side note, Dot makes some of the finest baked goods in the county and is nice enough to bring them to the office every week.

Darla
Contact Lens Manager & Patient Technician
Darla has been working in the eye care field since 1996. In 2003, she joined the Klein Eye Care staff. Darla is a certified Para-Optometric Assistant who works alongside the Doctors providing patient care. She also handles new patient Contact Lens training and ordering of lenses.
Darla lives in Ste. Genevieve with her husband Jeff and two daughters Hannah and Molly.

Billing Coordinator & Office Manager
Michele has been with Klein Eye Care since September 2007 and handles Billing, Collections, and Credentialing. She has over 22 years experience in the Insurance industry with more than 10 of those years in Healthcare.
Michele lives in Ste. Genevieve with her husband, Brian, and their three children: Kellen (19), Garrett (15), and Ellie (6).

Nichole
Patient Coordinator
Nichole has been in charge of patient management and scheduling with Klein Eye Care since 2007. She earned a Medical Assistant Degree in 2007 as well.
Nichole lives in Festus with her husband Darren and son Dylan.
